The past few weeks I have been reminded of what amazing friends I have been blessed with. You know the kind of friends I am talking about. The ones that are
there for you no matter what. They
don't care if their house is a mess and
they have things to do, they'll
drop everything because you need to talk. They
can tell when something is wrong and
you need to talk and then proceed to
get you to talk. On the other hand, they
can tell when you aren't ready to talk and
give you time and space. They
laugh with you. They
cry with you. They
don't care what you look like and
don't judge you, because
if they did they would have run the other way months, years, or even decades ago! They
love you for you,
even when you are irrational, exasperating, frustrating, etc. They
call at just the right time. They
get you to relax and have fun. They
know just what to say and
when to say it. They
can tell when you what you really need is a big HUG.
To all my wonderful friends out there, thank you so much for all of your love and support. Thank you for being a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, and someone to laugh with. Thank you for taking time out of your crazy lives for me. Thank you for encouraging me, especially when I am frustrated. Thank you for making sure I am eating:).
I hope and pray that I am being a good friend to my friends. All too often I am too busy, too stressed, or too tired.
My resolve: to be a better friend and a better listener.Love you guys!
